Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Baking Soda

Baby Oil

Lemon Juice

Exfoliating Sponge

Washcloth

Acetone Nail Polish Remover

Step 1: Put warm water, baking soda and baby oil in the bathtub and soak for 20 minutes; this will help to loosen the pigment of the tan.

Step 2: Make a thick body scrub paste using baking soda and baby oil.

Step 3: Using a Buff-Puff or exfoliating sponge, gently scrub the skin with the baking soda/baby oil mixture. Be careful not to irritate the skin.

Step 4: Once out of the tub and skin is completely dry, you can dip a washcloth into pure lemon juice and scrub any leftover tan.

Step 5: If you notice the tanning solution has attached to your fingernails, use an Acetone nail polish remover and cotton ball on the fingernail and underneath the nail tip.

"The last time someone joined us in the shower, we were on a romantic Caribbean vacation. When Goldstein stepped into our stall with us, it was to make us only look as though we'd been on a tropical getaway. Arriving at our home with one small rolling suitcase, she quickly got to work with a fast-developing organic formula. She used a large gun for our body, then switched to a smaller nozzle for our face, hands, and feet. She even sprayed some on a paper towel and dabbed it on tricky spots, such as our neck, for precise coverage. In the few minutes..."
Getting married? Check out why you should choose Glow mobile airbrush tanning for your wedding day!

Why should brides consider spray-tanning as opposed to just laying out or using their own lotion at home?

Why subject your skin to the harmful UV rays of the sun or tanning beds when in just 10 - 20 minutes a bride can have a flawless tan that's custom-mixed especially for her skin tone and desired color tan? The common spray booth alternatives, lotions, gloves, and towels are not customized and the results most often times turn out to be messy, orange and uneven. GLOW truly believes that every bride deserves a perfectly radiant and customized tan delivered to her doorstep on her special day!

Grab a robe and some baby oil and read on; this little trick will be handy for you whether you want to remove your entire tan before your next spray tan application with GLOW Mobile Airbrush Tanning, or if you've just had an unfortunate spray tanning color result. Massage the baby oil into your skin and then wait at least 30-45 minutes for it to absorb into your skin. Slip into a bath for about 10 minutes and then exfoliate your entire body or concentrate on problem areas with a wash cloth. It may take more than one visit to the tub, but this will likely get you where you need to be!

So much safer than the sun!

Many advancements have been made on the sunless-tanning front since 1960, when Coppertone® came out with the first sunless-tanning product — QT® or Quick Tanning Lotion. We no longer have to settle for an orange hue when we make the healthy choice not to subject our skin to the harmful UV rays from tanning beds and the sun! Whether it's a deep and dark tan or a beautiful and radiant glow, we can have it thanks to DHA (dihydroxyacetone)!

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, the most effective products available are sunless- or self-tanning lotions that contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. DHA is a colorless sugar that interacts with the dead cells located in the stratum corneum of the epidermis. As the sugar interacts with the dead skin cells, a color change occurs. This change usually lasts about five to seven days (up to 10 for some people) from the initial application.

Every day, millions of dead skin cells are sloughed off or worn away from the surface of your skin. In fact, every 35 to 45 days, you have an entirely new epidermis. This is why tans from sunless- or self-tanning lotions will gradually fade — as the dead cells are worn away, so is your tan. For this reason, most of these products suggest that you reapply the sunless- or self-tanner about every three days to maintain your "tan." GLOW offers a tan extender, which (for best results) should be used in place of a daily moisturizer in the evenings before bed 2-3 times per week in between you GLOW Airbrush Tanning Sessions!
